£70,000 to £80,000 package + 4x4+ fuel card + bonus
We require a Site Manager to manage the site operations team to install and commission a diverse range of electrical HV projects. To take responsibility for ensuring all projects are installed and commissioned in line with Company procedures, within the agreed timeframe and with due regard to Health, Safety and Wellbeing.
You will be required to:
- Attend and provide input to regular meetings on site
- Prepare for and complete internal and external audits with SHEQ team and external stakeholders
- Ensure all tools, equipment and materials are pre-arranged and inspected prior to arrival to site.
- Review Approved Procedures and provide feedback to SHEQ team.
- Attend regular site meetings and ensure progress is made on health and safety matters.
- Carry out site inductions / toolbox talks and daily briefings.
- Document site progress and report to Project Manager via Site diary.
- Proactively promote Health and Safety and encourage all staff to engage in safety reporting and awareness.
- Manage project programme and meet milestones dates
- Raise (with the Project Manager) early warnings and manage change on site, with full visibility and records
- Liaise with the Project Manager to request required labour on site and and recruit agency staff where required.
- Review internal or subcontractor Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMS).
- Manage and co-ordinate sub-contractor works
- Identify scope changes and assist with quoting works.
- Proactively suggest improvements and raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCR's) as appropriate.
- Update as built drawings to highlight any changes to original drawings.
- Issue relevant permits, hot works/ ladders, etc.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of management documentation / administration duties such as QUIDS.
You will report to the Installation Team Manager
Your skills will be:
▶ Successfully complete and implement Level 3 Diploma in Construction Site Management or similar
▶ Successful management of 33kV or 66kV or 132kV or 275kV or 400kV sites from a Principle Contractor background or Specialist Electrical Subcontractor
▶ 3 years' experience in a Supervisory capacity in charge of complex electrical installations
▶ Successfully completed and implement SMSTS training
▶ Construction Design Management 2015 training
▶ Full UK driving licence.
