The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEN.
* Assist in implementing Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
* Support pupils with autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, speech and language needs, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.
* Adapt learning materials and activities to meet individual needs.
* Encourage pupil engagement, participation, and independence.
* Monitor and record pupil progress and report observations to teachers and SENCO.
* Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
* Support pupils during classroom activities, transitions, breaktimes, and educational visits.
* Assist with personal care and medical needs where required.
* Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
* Work collaboratively with teachers, parents/carers, and external professionals.
* Attend staff meetings, training, and pupil review meetings as required.
* Maintain confidentiality and comply with safeguarding policies.

* Experience working with children or young people.
* Understanding of Special Educational Needs and inclusive education.

* Good literacy, numeracy, and IT skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting child welfare.
* Enhanced DBS clearance or willingness to obtain one.
Desirable
* Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
* Previous experience in a SEN school or mainstream SEN setting.
* Knowledge of EHCP processes and SEN interventions.
* Training in Makaton, PECS, Team Teach, or equivalent SEN-related programmes.
