How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Job description

Clinical Nurse – Learning Disabilities & Quality

Salary: £35,000 per annum

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Working pattern: Primarily Monday to Friday | Occasional on-call support required

Looking for a nursing role where you can make a lasting difference?

Are you an experienced nurse looking for a new challenge where you can use your clinical knowledge without the pressures of shift work?

At Style Acre, you can use your nursing expertise to improve the health and wellbeing of adults with learning disabilities, autism and physical needs. This is an opportunity to move away from traditional frontline nursing pressures while continuing to make a meaningful difference every day.

You’ll become a key source of clinical knowledge across our supported living services, helping teams deliver safe, effective and person-centred healthcare.

About Style Acre

Style Acre is an Oxfordshire-based, award-winning and forward-thinking charity supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and physical needs. We support over 250 people across more than 35 supported living households, 3 community day hubs and a successful work programme.

We are passionate about supporting people to live fulfilling lives, be as independent as possible and receive the best possible healthcare.

About the role

As our Clinical Nurse – Learning Disabilities & Quality, you will use your nursing expertise to support excellent health outcomes across our services.

Working alongside our Quality Team and operational colleagues, you will provide clinical guidance, promote best practice and help ensure the people we support receive safe, personalised healthcare.

This role is ideal for a nurse who enjoys building relationships, improving practice and making a visible difference.

What you’ll be doing:

Supporting people with complex health needs and ensuring their health plans are accurate, personalised and regularly reviewed.

Working with GPs, hospitals, specialist teams and other healthcare professionals to improve healthcare experiences.

Supporting teams with clinical guidance, advice and development.

Leading on medication safety, audits, spot checks and competency assessments.

Promoting good health and wellbeing, including nutrition, hydration, mobility and epilepsy care.

Monitoring changes in physical and mental health and ensuring appropriate action is taken.

Using audits, information and feedback to identify improvements and strengthen quality of care.

Helping staff feel confident supporting people with their health needs.

About you

We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable registered nurse who is passionate about improving healthcare for people with learning disabilities.

You will have:

Current NMC registration (RNLD, RGN or RMN).

Experience supporting people with complex health needs.

Knowledge and understanding of medication management and clinical safety.

Confidence working with multidisciplinary teams and external healthcare professionals.

A person-centred approach and a passion for supporting people to have choice and control over their health.

We're particularly keen to hear from Registered Learning Disability Nurses (RNLDs), although applications from RGN and RMN nurses with relevant experience are warmly welcomed.

Why join Style Acre?

Primarily Monday to Friday | Occasional on-call support required

A role where you can build meaningful, long-term relationships.

The opportunity to influence health outcomes across multiple services.

Work within a supportive Quality Team.

Use your clinical skills in a different and rewarding way.

Be part of an organisation that puts people at the heart of everything we do.

Join a charity committed to continuous improvement and outstanding support.

Ready for a new nursing challenge?

If you are looking for a role where your nursing knowledge can make a real difference every day, we would love to hear from you.
