Customer Service Advisor

St Ives, Cambridgeshire | £12.71 per hour | Full Time | Temporary to Permanent

Start Date: September 2026 and beyond

Full time in the office, 8am – 17:30pm

The Role

As a Customer Service Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing a professional, friendly and efficient service while handling a variety of enquiries.

Your responsibilities will include:

Handling inbound customer calls and emails.
Assisting customers with delivery and account queries.
Investigating customer issues and resolving escalated enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
Liaising with internal departments to ensure the best possible outcome for customers.
Updating and maintaining accurate customer records across multiple systems.
Delivering an outstanding level of customer service at every interaction.

About You

We're looking for individuals who are passionate about customer service and can remain calm and organised while working in a busy environment.

To be successful, you will have:

Previous experience within a customer service is essential, ideally office based or call-centre, but we will consider hospitality and retail.
An excellent telephone manner and strong written communication skills.
Confidence using multiple computer systems simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
The ability to prioritise workload and perform well under pressure.
A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
Please note: Successful candidates must be available to attend a 2-week induction and training programme upon start date, no annual leave can be taken during this period
