The Role
As a Bodyshop Paint Sprayer, you'll be at the heart of the preparation and finishing process — delivering everything from minor touch-ups to full body resprays across a varied fleet of vehicles. You'll work as part of a close-knit bodyshop team and play a direct role in maintaining the high presentation standards the dealership is known for.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll:
Carry out paint spraying on a wide range of vehicles, from minor repairs to full resprays
Prepare vehicle surfaces ready for painting — including sanding, priming, and masking
Paint mechanical, underbody, and miscellaneous vehicle components
Match colours accurately and achieve a consistent, high-quality finish
Work efficiently to meet turnaround times without compromising on quality
Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised working environment
What You'll Bring
Essential:
Proven experience as a Paint Sprayer or Prepper in an automotive bodyshop environment
Ability to carry out a full range of restoration and respray tasks to a high standard
Strong colour-matching skills and attention to detail
Experience working to production targets and repair schedules
Useful, not essential:
Experience working within a franchised or volume used car dealership
Familiarity with water-based paint systems
