You’d be responsible for helping the Print Minders ensure the quality of printed work and compliance with Sabert operating procedures, including:

* general housekeeping within the team, ensuring that the relevant print machine and area around it is maintained, kept clean, tidy and efficiently run at all times;

* prepare materials ensuring the Print Minders have all they need for the next job to minimise make ready times – this includes preparation of board, inks, etc;

* assist during press wash-ups / clean-downs;

* clean printing plates and blankets and relocate in correct location;

* assist with ordering consumables for use within the print team.

You’ll need to have an intermediate standard of written and spoken English so you can:

* understand and carry out instructions;

* be able to work well within a small team, as well as act on own initiative, with good listening, communication and interpersonal skills;

* adapt working style quickly to changing situations with a flexible approach to working hours;

* work under pressure whilst looking for continual improvements;

* meet the physical demands of the post with frequent lifting of light and moderately heavy items.
