The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
We are seeking a driven and experienced Manufacturing Continuous Improvement Lead / Process Engineer to join our team in Hereford. You will lead continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing departments, ensuring processes are efficient, standardised, and aligned with quality and safety standards, while supporting teams to embed lasting change.
Key Responsibilities
Lead improvement projects to reduce product variability through standardised processes and strong procedural controls
Support manufacturing teams with the implementation and sustainability of new and improved processes
Develop, monitor, and analyse key manufacturing metrics to identify improvement opportunities
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean principles and best practice methodologies
Conduct advanced troubleshooting, identifying root causes and areas of non-compliance
Train and mentor team members to strengthen problem-solving and process adherence capabilities
Lead programmes that improve product quality and enhance overall customer satisfaction
Manage new product introduction (NPI), ensuring smooth transition from design through to full-scale production
About You
Proven experience in a manufacturing environment delivering process improvements and operational solutions
Working knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies
Strong understanding of ISO/BSI standards and quality systems
Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
Strong analytical mindset with effective problem-solving abilities
Demonstrated ability to drive change and successfully implement improvement initiatives
