How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Confident leading a business through change, growth and transition.
Collaborative and able to build strong relationships across different functions and cultures.
Comfortable balancing autonomy with the requirements of a larger international group.
Strategic in your thinking but equally willing to get into the detail when required.
Decisive and resilient, with the confidence to challenge constructively and have difficult conversations.
An excellent communicator with strong commercial judgement and problem-solving skills.
Passionate about coffee, premium brands and delivering an exceptional customer experience.Experience with SAP, Salesforce, Power BI or similar systems would be advantageous.

A relevant degree in business, management or a related discipline is preferred.

The Opportunity

This is a rare opportunity to take overall leadership of an established and growing UK & Ireland coffee business at an important stage of its evolution.

You will have genuine scope to shape the next chapter of the business, developing its people, strengthening commercial performance and identifying new opportunities for growth, while benefiting from the reach and resources of a larger international group.

For the right person, this is an opportunity to make a visible impact within a premium, entrepreneurial business while playing a key role in its continued growth.
