The Role
We are currently partnering with a secondary school in the Darlington area that is looking for a Science Teacher who can hit the ground running and make a positive impact from day one.
This is a well-structured classroom environment where student behaviour is effectively managed, allowing you to focus on delivering engaging and high-quality lessons rather than constant classroom control.
Key Responsibilities
Teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4 (all specialisms welcome)
Deliver engaging and practical lessons that bring the subject to life
Create a classroom environment where students feel confident to ask questions and deepen their understanding
Work collaboratively within a supportive department, sharing resources and best practice

What We’re Looking For
UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Strong classroom presence and effective behaviour management skills
A genuine passion for Science
Ability to build rapport quickly and deliver engaging lessons

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
