A growing construction group with a strong network of regional offices and a £40m annual turnover is looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor for its Surrey office. The role is based in the Surrey office with regular site visits. Current schemes include education, commercial fit‑out and healthcare environments, with project values typically ranging from £1m to £10m.
Live work includes:
• Education refurbishments in Surrey – fire door replacements, FRA compliance upgrades, partitions, electrical improvements and general building works delivered within occupied school environments.
• A £3m refurbishment programme in Southampton – internal reconfiguration, compliance upgrades and specialist trades packages.
• Healthcare works in London – intensive care refurbishment within a major London institution requiring careful coordination and strict compliance.
These projects form part of a wider portfolio delivered by the Surrey office, with additional schemes planned across the region. The position offers flexibility to manage a personal diary while working within a structured commercial team known for its strong supply chain, reliable payment record, loyal clients and positive social culture.
Key Responsibilities
• Commercial management of multiple live projects
• Site visits across Surrey, Southampton and London
• Cost control, valuations, reporting and subcontract management
• Working within established commercial processes
• Supporting delivery across education, commercial fit‑out and healthcare schemes
