As our new Material Handler, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safe, accurate and efficient movement of raw materials and finished products across our manufacturing site. Working as part of our Logistics team, you'll help keep production running smoothly by ensuring materials are delivered where they're needed, when they're needed, while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and housekeeping.

This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. You'll operate material handling equipment, complete system transactions accurately, support tanker off-loading, and work closely with colleagues across Operations to ensure materials are managed efficiently. Safety is at the heart of everything we do, and you'll play an important part in maintaining our Responsible Care standards and creating a safe working environment for everyone.

Some of your key responsibilities:

* Safely move materials to and from production areas, including tanker off-loading activities.

* Complete all documentation and system transactions accurately and in a timely manner.

* Carry out daily inspections of forklift trucks and other material handling equipment, reporting any maintenance issues.

* Maintain excellent housekeeping standards and ensure compliance with HSE, COSHH and Company procedures.

* Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an efficient and high-quality logistics service.

What do I need to be successful in this role?

* A valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence.

* Experience working within a warehouse, stores or logistics environment.

* Good understanding of health and safety practices relating to material handling.

* Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

* A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks.
