Location: Wellingborough, Northamptonshire (NN8 1EG)
Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour
We are looking for experienced Children's Residential Support Workers to join a dedicated team supporting children and young people aged 8-16 years within a residential setting.
You'll provide high-quality care, promote positive behaviour, support young people with their daily routines, education and activities, and help create a safe, nurturing environment where they can thrive. You'll work closely with colleagues and other professionals to safeguard children and support their emotional, social and personal development.
Requirements
Previous experience working in a Children's Residential Care setting is essential.
Level 3 NVQ/Diploma in Residential Childcare is preferred; however, experienced candidates without the qualification are encouraged to apply.
Good understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
Flexible to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and sleep-ins where required.
