Big Sky collaborates with international fashion, beauty, entertainment and F&B brands, offering premium studios and shoot services to bring creative projects to life.

ROLE OVERVIEW
We’re looking for a proactive and people-focused People Advisor to join the team at an exciting time. This is a great opportunity for someone currently working in a People/HR Administrator or Coordinator role who’s ready to take the next step and broaden their experience.
In this role, you’ll get involved in a wide range of people activities, from recruitment and onboarding through to supporting managers with day-to-day people matters and helping drive a positive employee experience. You’ll be a key point of contact offering practical support and helping things run smoothly behind the scenes.
You’ll be supported to grow your skills and confidence, while also having the opportunity to take ownership of key processes and really make the role your own.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the full recruitment process from start to finish, being the go-to person for any recruitment queries
- Support managers in keeping job descriptions up to date and creating engaging job adverts that reflect our brand
- Screen applications and keep in touch with candidates throughout to make sure they have a smooth, positive experience
- Take the lead on the parental leave process, including running pre- and post-leave meetings and issuing the relevant paperwork
- Provide first-line support and guidance to managers on day-to-day people matters, including things like absence management
- Oversee work experience placements, making sure managers are well prepared and that everyone has a great experience
- Keep up to date with employment law and update policies when needed
- Meet with new starters and their managers to support a well-rounded onboarding experience and spot any early support needs
- Offer support to the People Administrator when needed
- Keep internal systems and trackers up to date to ensure everything runs smoothly
- Help promote a positive culture and drive employee engagement through internal initiatives and the employee committee
- Support the People Manager in delivering the People plan and wider people objectives
SKILLS
- Previous experience in a People Administrator or Coordinator role, with a solid understanding of day-to-day HR processes and best practices
- Eagerness to learn and develop, with a proactive approach to building HR knowledge and confidence
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and keep on top of competing priorities
- Confident communicator, able to build positive relationships with managers, colleagues and candidates
- Comfortable providing first-line advice and guidance, with the confidence to escalate where appropriate
- Good attention to detail, particularly when handling data, documentation and internal systems
- A proactive and hands-on approach, with a willingness to get stuck in and support where needed
- Interest in employee experience, engagement and culture, with ideas and enthusiasm to contribute
