Are you a dynamic, motivated and results-driven sales professional looking for an exciting opportunity to help develop and grow a successful business?

As Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving company growth by developing and implementing effective sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities and building strong, long-term customer relationships.

Key responsibilities will include:

Developing and implementing a business development and sales plan to achieve company objectives.
Carrying out outbound sales calls and telemarketing activity to generate new opportunities.
Managing client sales appointments and following up on new business opportunities.
Visiting clients to understand their requirements and develop tailored solutions and proposals.
Preparing quotations and proposals and securing new sales orders.
Supporting customer trials and ensuring opportunities are progressed through to completion.
Identifying and targeting new markets and potential customers to expand the client base.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with both existing and prospective clients.
Preparing and presenting accurate sales reports, forecasts and performance updates to senior management.

Skills & Experience

The successful candidate will have:

Proven experience in business development, sales or a similar commercial role.
Strong negotiation, presentation and relationship-building skills.
A highly motivated, proactive and results-focused approach.
The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a sales team.
Strong understanding of sales performance metrics and the ability to analyse and use data effectively.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A willingness to learn, develop and take on new challenges.
The flexibility to travel as required and manage multiple priorities effectively.
