This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer with experience maintaining, servicing and repairing a range of heavy plant equipment and HGVs. The role offers a competitive hourly rate, regular overtime opportunities and the use of a fully equipped service van.
Key Responsibilities
* Service, maintain and repair a range of heavy plant machinery and HGVs.
* Diagnose and rectify mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
* Carry out planned maintenance and breakdown repairs.
* Complete LOLER inspections and associated documentation where required.
* Ensure all work is completed safely and to industry standards.
* Accurately complete service reports and maintenance records.
* Provide a professional service whilst representing the business on customer sites.
Candidate Requirements
* NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance, Heavy Plant, HGV Maintenance or a related discipline.
* Previous experience working on heavy plant equipment and/or heavy goods vehicles.
* Valid CSCS Card.
* LOLER certification or practical LOLER experience.
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
* Able to commute within approximately 45 minutes of the West Yorkshire depot.
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
Package
* 50-hour working week.
* Overtime paid at time and a half after 50 hours.
* Monday to Friday working pattern.
* Saturday work available as required.
* Fully equipped mobile service van provided.
