Injection Moulding Setter
12 month contract | £17.51 per hour | No night shifts!
If you’re an experienced Injection Moulding Setter who enjoys being hands-on with machines, tooling and process set-ups, this could be a solid, well-structured contract role for you with clear hours and no night work.
This position sits within a busy production environment, supporting the delivery of moulded components to defined quality and production standards.
The basics:
- Contract: 12 months initially
- Hours: 39 hours per week
- Pay rate: £17.51 per hour
- Shift pattern (rotating earlies & lates):
- Earlies: Monday–Thursday: 5:30am–2:00pm, Friday: 6:00am–11:00am
- Lates: Monday–Thursday: 2:00pm–10:00pm, Friday: 11:00am–6:00pm
- No night shifts
What you’ll be doing:
- Setting and changing tools on injection moulding machines
- Setting parameters within defined process limits
- Supporting production with efficient machine set-ups and ancillary equipment
- Carrying out first-off inspections and routine quality checks
- Monitoring moulded parts throughout production and recording results
- Flagging maintenance or quality issues to the relevant teams
- Working to ISO 9001 / ISO 13485 standards and good documentation practice
- Maintaining a safe, clean and well-organised mould shop environment
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience of Injection Moulding Machines
- Hands-on experience with tooling and parameter setting
- Comfortable working to quality systems and documented processes
- A proactive, reliable approach within a production environment
This is a practical, shop-floor role for someone who knows injection moulding and wants a contract with structure, consistency and no night shifts.
