Driver Hire Leeds East are recruiting 1 x Permanent 7.5 Tonne HGV Delivery Driver for our client based in LS10.

We understand that working with an agency for the first time can be a daunting prospect, that’s why we met all our drivers face to face so we can discuss in person what type of work you are looking for.
Our client:
A well established plumbing and supplies business with a national presence. They have 2 depots in Leeds and due to securing a new contract they are needing a new HGV driver to join their team in Hunslet.
The Role:
As a 7.5 Tonne HGV Delivery Driver you will be required to deliver plumbing supplies to other businesses in the north of England. A normal day would consist of completing between 10-15 drops a day.
Most drops you complete will be to repeat customers, this means you will need to a friendly personality as you will be seeing the same people on a weekly basis.
Handballing is required as part of the role, however most of the products you will be delivering are light in weight.
Shift Pattern:
* Monday to Friday – 6:45AM Starts – 4PM – 42.5hours per week
* No bank holidays
Pay Rate:
£13.84 per hour – £30.5K per year before any overtime or bonus payments
