A supportive primary setting in Morden is looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to work one‑to‑one with a 7‑year‑old pupil with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC).
There is no personal care involved, but you will need to feel confident supporting a primary‑aged child who benefits from structure, reassurance and gentle encouragement throughout the day.

What Will You Be Doing Each Day?
* Providing consistent 1:1 support across lessons, transitions and outdoor learning
* Building a positive relationship that helps the child feel secure and confident
* Supporting communication, emotional regulation and social interaction
* Encouraging independence and celebrating small steps of progress
* Following the child's support plan and sharing observations with staff
* Helping create a calm, inclusive environment where the child can thrive

Experience in schools, childcare, tutoring, youth work, care or residential settings is welcomed. GCSE Maths & English at Grade C (or equivalent) required. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) essential.
