We have multiple junior starters in the ecology team and are seeking a mentor to sit between consultant & Technical Director level.

The Role
As a Senior or Principal Ecologist, you will be responsible for delivering a wide variety of ecological projects.
You will collaborate with technical specialists, mentor junior team members, and engage with clients to provide expert advice.
- Lead and deliver ecological surveys, including protected species assessments and habitat assessments.
- Manage complex ecological projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality outcomes.
- Support and mentor junior ecologists, fostering growth and sharing your expertise.
- Contribute to business development by building relationships with clients and identifying new opportunities.
- Engage with multidisciplinary teams to deliver nature-based solutions that leave a lasting impact.
You will be an experienced ecologist with a solid understanding of UK environmental legislation, habitat assessments, and protected species surveys.
Essential Attributes:
- Degree in ecology, environmental science, or a related field.
- Solid technical knowledge of ecological survey methodologies, species identification, and relevant environmental legislation.
- Experience in managing projects and mentoring team members.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build solid client relationships.
- A proactive attitude with a passion for promoting sustainable solutions.
- UK Driving Licence
