MTrec Recruitment are currently supporting our prestigious client on their search for a proactive and commercially focused Sales Leader to take ownership of the sales function and play a key role in driving the continued growth of the business.

This is an office-based management position, suited to someone who enjoys taking responsibility, leading from the front and creating a proactive sales culture. The successful candidate will have ownership of sales performance, supporting and managing the sales team while identifying new opportunities and ensuring strong customer relationships are maintained. The Role you will be doing;

* Take ownership of the overall sales function and performance.

* Lead, manage and motivate the sales team to achieve agreed targets.

* Develop a proactive approach to new business and sales opportunities.

* Monitor sales performance, pipeline activity and conversion rates.

* Identify opportunities to grow existing customer accounts and develop new business.

* Build strong, long-term relationships with customers across the UK.

* Work closely with senior management to develop and deliver the company's sales strategy.

* Encourage a positive, accountable and commercially focused sales culture.

* Provide regular reporting and insight into sales performance and opportunities.

* The ideal candidate will be a proactive and driven sales professional with previous experience in a sales leadership or management position. They will be confident taking ownership, managing a team and driving activity rather than simply reacting to incoming enquiries.

* You will be commercially minded, organised and motivated by growth, with the ability to build strong relationships and get the best from those around you.
