We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing business based in Luton. This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful organisation where you'll manage an existing customer portfolio while driving new business opportunities and contributing to continued commercial growth.
The Role
As an Inside Sales Account Manager, you'll be responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of customer accounts, building strong relationships and identifying opportunities to increase revenue.
Working closely with colleagues across the business, you'll provide quotations, negotiate pricing, proactively contact customers and deliver an outstanding customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and grow an existing portfolio of B2B customer accounts.
* Build strong, long-term relationships with customers.
* Identify opportunities to increase customer spend through upselling and cross-selling.
* Proactively contact customers to generate new business opportunities.
* Prepare quotations and negotiate pricing.
* Work closely with colleagues to maximise sales opportunities.
* Maintain accurate CRM records and manage your sales pipeline.
* Achieve sales and margin targets.
About You
We're interested in candidates with experience in:
* Internal Sales
* Account Management
* Business Development
* Sales Executive
* Customer Account Management
* Technical Sales
You'll also have:
* Proven B2B sales experience.
* Experience growing existing customer accounts.
* A proactive and commercially minded approach.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
* Experience preparing quotations and negotiating prices.
* CRM experience.
* A target-driven mindset.
Experience within manufacturing, engineering, industrial products, technical products, electrical wholesale or distribution would be advantageous, although candidates from other B2B product sales backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
