Key Responsibilities

Assist patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility, while promoting their independence and dignity.

Monitor and accurately record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, reporting any changes to the nursing staff immediately.
*
Support nursing and medical staff during clinical procedures and daily rounds.
*
Ensure patient beds, rooms, and clinical environments are kept clean, safe, and fully stocked with necessary supplies.
*
Serve meals and assist patients with eating and drinking, adhering to specific dietary requirements or care plans.
*
Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date patient records in compliance with data protection regulations.
Requirements
*
Previous experience working as an HCA or Support Worker in a hospital, clinic, or residential care setting.
*
An NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is highly desirable, along with a completed Care Certificate.
*
A naturally empathetic and patient-focused approach, with the resilience to handle emotionally and physically demanding situations.
*
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and clinical colleagues.
*
A solid understanding of safeguarding protocols, infection control, and health and safety guidelines.

An enhanced DBS check will be required for the successful candidate
