APT Education is recruiting a dedicated, patient and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant in Northampton (NN1) to work 1:1 with pupils with additional needs at a large, welcoming Primary school. This is a full‑time role starting in September, supporting pupils who may present with challenging behaviour, Autism, ADHD, non‑verbal communication needs, and wider behavioural or emotional needs.

⭐ About the Role – SEN Teaching Assistant (Northampton NN1)
As a SEN Teaching Assistant in Northampton, you will:

Provide 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs

Support pupils with Autism, ADHD, behavioural needs, and non‑verbal communication

Use visuals, routines and calm communication strategies
*
Assist with emotional regulation and behaviour management
*
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO

Create a safe, structured and positive learning environment
