The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
Looking for a role that genuinely combines people, sales, operations and agriculture? Our client is a respected and growing agricultural services business seeking an ambitious and hands-on individual to become a key part of its future success. This is not a role where you sit behind a desk all day.
One day you could be meeting farmers and discussing crop performance. The next, coordinating field operations, producing precision mapping reports, attending industry events or helping ensure the business runs smoothly during peak season.
For the right individual, this represents a fantastic opportunity to work closely with an experienced industry leader, develop commercial responsibility and become a highly influential member of a growing agricultural business.
The Role
You will play a central role across:
* Sales and business development
* Customer relationship management
* Precision agriculture and soil sampling
* Mapping and technical reporting
* Operational planning and logistics
* Fleet and compliance management
* Office administration and business support
This is a varied position requiring someone who enjoys responsibility, thrives on variety and is prepared to roll their sleeves up when required.
The Person
We are keen to hear from individuals who can demonstrate:
* A genuine interest in agriculture and farming
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Commercial awareness and a proactive mindset
* Good organisational and planning ability
* Confidence using technology and software systems
* A practical, hands-on approach
* The ability to work independently whilst being a strong team player
Previous experience within agriculture, precision farming, agronomy support, farm services, agricultural sales or operational management would be highly advantageous.
The Opportunity
This is an unusual opportunity to join a well-established business where no two days are the same.
You will gain exposure to commercial management, customer development, precision farming technology, logistics and agricultural operations, whilst building a long-term career within a progressive rural business.
If you enjoy agriculture, like dealing with people and want a role that combines field, office and commercial responsibility, we would very much like to hear from you
