The successful candidate should have previous B2B renewables experience within the listed solar, HVAC systems, air source heat pumps & EV charging point solutions, as well as a good knowledge of the renewables supply chain.
Duties:
* Leading the start-up of the new renewables division for the company, purely focused on penetrating the renewables market sector, by enticing the company’s current electrical wholesale customers to also purchase their renewables products from the business, rather than customers only purchasing electrical parts, components & products as they do currently. An additional service.
* Securing new renewables business, providing wholesale support to the trades.
* Work closely with the sales team to offer renewable products to customers
* Carry out site surveys, to scope out the required renewable products, the product specification requirements & the volume of units that will be required by the end using client allowing them to complete their renewables project successfully OTIF.
* Sourcing the renewable products (solar panels, HVAC systems, heat pumps & EV charger systems, cables & parts) for the end using customers renewable projects
* Quoting clients for all products, parts & components for their projects
* Liaising with renewable product suppliers, securing deals at the best price, at the correct volumes, the correct product specifications, delivered OTIF with no delays, in readiness for the customer to commence their installation works.
* Technical back up to customers and the branches.
Attributes:
* Wholesaler experience & B2B sales
* Strong experience in renewables inc. solar, HVAC, heat pumps & EV installations
* Experience in quoting for renewables / HVAC wholesale products supply (B2B)
* Able to advise on the best renewable products available on the open market
* Experienced in purchasing renewables systems, HVAC systems, spare parts, additional components & any required auxiliaries (best price & best quality)
* Able to secure new business opportunities with new customers & to expand on business opportunities within current customers on the renewables side.
* Used to using CRM systems & able to use Excel
* Strong commercial acumen & able to budget effectively
