Roles & Responsibilities
* Stripping pumps, electric motors, gearboxes, fan units and other electrical equipment for evaluation and quotation.
* Carrying out servicing, overhauls, rewinds and repairs on a wide range of electrical and mechanical equipment.
* Rebuilding equipment and completing final testing to ensure all repairs meet company quality standards.
* Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults and carrying out effective repairs.
* Attending customer sites to remove, repair and reinstall equipment.
* Producing quotations for repairs where required.
* Completing service reports and associated job documentation accurately.
* Working both within the workshop and on customer sites, representing the company professionally.
* Participating in an on-call rota to respond to emergency breakdowns.
* Following all Health & Safety procedures and maintaining a clean and organised work area.
Experience, Skills & Qualifications
* Previous experience as an Electrical / Mechanical Engineer.
* Experience working on electric motors, pumps, gearboxes or similar rotating equipment.
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Organised and methodical approach to work.
* Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
* Flexible approach with willingness to participate in an on-call rota and overtime.
Hours
* Monday to Friday
* 8:00am – 5:00pm
* Overtime available
Salary
* Approximately £37,000 per annum, depending on experience.
