We are delighted to be supporting a successful, growing business with a strong reputation for quality and innovation, in their search for an experienced CNC Turner (Setter/Operator).
As a CNC Turner, youll be working within a modern, clean and fully air-conditioned machine shop, setting and operating CNC lathes with Fanuc controls. The role offers a great balance of production and technical variety, with opportunities to work on new components and prototypes.
Responsibilities as the CNC Turner:
Set and operate CNC turning machines using Fanuc controls.
Take jobs from first-off through to low and medium batch production.
Support repeat production of established components.
Work on new components, prototypes and design changes
Monitor tooling and maintain efficient machining processes.
Carry out in-process inspection and quality checks.
The successful CNC Turner will have:
Previous experience setting and operating CNC turning machines Doosan / Haas.
Experience working with Fanuc controls.
Strong understanding of engineering drawings and precision machining.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
The ability to work independently and manage your own workload effectively.
Experience within a precision engineering or similar manufacturing environment.
