Approved Electrician Required - Industrial Projects

We're currently recruiting for an experienced Approved Electrician to support a range of industrial electrical installation projects at a major manufacturing facility in Telford.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established engineering team working on a variety of electrical installation, upgrade and maintenance projects within a busy industrial environment.

The Role

Working as part of a skilled site team, you'll be responsible for carrying out high-quality electrical installation work while ensuring all activities are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with current regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Industrial electrical installation work.
Installation of containment including tray, basket, trunking and conduit.
Cable pulling, terminating and glanding.
Installation and connection of motors, control panels and industrial equipment.
Electrical modifications and project installation work.
Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics.
Testing and inspecting completed installations where required.
Ensuring all work complies with BS7671 and site health and safety procedures.
Working collaboratively with supervisors, engineers and other trades to deliver projects on schedule.
About You

To be considered, you'll ideally have:

Approved Electrician status.
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
ECS/JIB Gold Card.
Previous experience within industrial or manufacturing environments.
Experience installing industrial containment and power distribution systems.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong commitment to safe working practices.
IPAF (essential).
