The schools provide supportive and inclusive learning environments for students with a variety of additional needs, with a strong focus on emotional wellbeing, personalised learning and helping every child achieve their full potential. Staff across these settings are committed to creating positive relationships and encouraging student development both academically and socially.
We are looking to recruit dedicated SEND Teachers on a day-to-day supply basis across the North East. The successful SEND Teacher will be supporting students within a variety of SEND schools, delivering engaging lessons, adapting learning approaches and managing behaviour positively to create safe and inclusive learning environments.
The successful SEND Teacher will have:
• QTS or relevant teaching qualification
• Experience working with children or young people with SEND
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• The ability to adapt learning to meet individual student needs
• A calm, patient and resilient approach
• Flexibility to work across a variety of SEND settings
