The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Painter to join a leading Business Aviation MRO facility in the South East. This state-of-the-art service centre supports a wide range of maintenance inputs, modifications, and aircraft upgrades, working on some of the most advanced business jets in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare aircraft surfaces for painting, including stripping, sanding, and cleaning
Apply primers, base coats, and finishing paints to aircraft surfaces and components
Mask and protect sensitive aircraft areas during painting processes
Carry out paint touch-ups and finishing work to a high standard
Interpret engineering drawings and job cards
Apply decals, vinyl appliqués, and custom designs
Conduct surface inspections and rectify imperfections
Support aircraft movement and general hangar activities when required
Ensure all work is completed in line with safety and quality procedures
Skills & Experience Required:
Proven experience as an Aircraft Painter (ideally within Business Aviation or MRO environment)
Strong knowledge of paint systems (high solids, conventional, lacquer, etc.)
Experience using spray guns, paint pots, and associated equipment
Ability to apply decals and vinyl to aircraft surfaces
Skilled in surface preparation including sanding, buffing, and polishing
Knowledge of metallic paint applications and blending techniques (desirable)
High attention to detail with a focus on delivering a premium finish
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
