Job Purpose To maintain The House of Bruar website, help maximise sales and ensure the online customer experience is best in class.
The House of Bruar’s ecommerce business is rapidly growing and is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Website Administrator. As a leader in luxury country clothing, we are committed to delivering exceptional products/services and providing an outstanding online shopping experience for our customers. This is an in person only role- full time at our offices in rural Perthshire.
Position Overview:
As a Website Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing our online sales platform. The ideal candidate will have a background in ecommerce operations, strong experience in MS Excel, SQL and database systems, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth, innovation, and future success of the business.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
· Product maintenance
o Ensure product listings and product data are correct and up to date.
o Upload new products & images.
o Ensure all products have necessary description and technical details listed.
· Technical Support
o Provide technical support for customer service enquiries.
o Work with the web team to implement improvements and optimisations.
· Collaboration
o Work with other teams and colleagues to join up the marketing process
o Provide support and advice to allow efficient information gathering
General Duties
· To consistently provide the highest level of service to our colleagues and external contacts including suppliers and customers.
· To adhere at all times to all company and statutory rules, regulations and policies.
· To have a good knowledge of all Bruar facilities and to be able to answer customer queries in a quick and helpful manner.
· To be security conscious in regards to company and customer property.
· To act on your responsibilities detailed in the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974.
· To demonstrate a working knowledge of fire prevention and to follow the site fire evacuation plans on hearing the alarm.
· To attend any meetings, training sessions or courses that may be beneficial to you and your department at the request of your Manager.
