The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
MRO Sales Specialist – Industrial Distribution

Area : Gloucestershire, Berkshire, Bristol/South West or Southampton/Solent.
An established industrial distribution business is looking for an experienced MRO sales specialist to support continued growth across existing and prospective customers. This is a hands-on commercial role for someone who already understands engineering components, industrial consumables and the service expectations of maintenance and manufacturing customers.
You will act as a knowledgeable point of contact, taking customer requirements from initial enquiry through quotation, order, delivery and aftersales support. You will source products from approved suppliers, recommend suitable alternatives, protect margin and identify opportunities to grow accounts through proactive contact and cross-selling.
What you will do
* Manage technical and commercial MRO enquiries from request to completion.
* Source bearings, power-transmission products, seals, lubricants and wider industrial consumables.
* Prepare accurate quotations, tender responses and supply proposals.
* Work with suppliers on price, availability, lead time and technical data.
* Develop existing accounts and identify new sales opportunities.
* Recommend products and alternatives that solve customer problems.
* Work to agreed sales, margin, service and activity targets.
What is required ?
* Recent experience in MRO, industrial distribution, engineering supplies or a closely related technical-sales environment.
* Working product knowledge across industrial components; bearings, power transmission, seals and lubricants are particularly relevant.
* Experience preparing quotations, processing orders and dealing directly with customers and suppliers.
* Commercial awareness, negotiation ability and confidence identifying profitable opportunities.
* A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach.
* A full clean UK driving licence.
