Chef de Partie
Confidential Luxury Hospitality Client | Central London
£35,000–£45,000 + Tronc + Overtime | 35 Hours Per Week
We are looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to join a talented, close-knit kitchen team and work alongside one of the world's most celebrated chefs, renowned internationally for his approach to Spanish cuisine.
The Role
The kitchen focuses on contemporary Spanish cuisine, built around exceptional seasonal produce, quality ingredients and simple, generous cooking. The menu is curated by an internationally acclaimed Spanish chef who remains actively involved with the operation through menu development, occasional service and hands-on training.
You'll join a brigade of approximately 4–5 chefs and 2 Kitchen Porters, working across a varied hospitality operation serving approximately 200–600 covers, depending on the event or service.
We're looking for a Chef de Partie who is passionate about food, takes pride in their work and wants to develop their skills within a high-quality culinary environment.
Spanish cuisine experience is desirable but not essential — we're equally interested in chefs with strong experience in quality restaurants, hotels or luxury hospitality who are eager to learn.
A Better Kitchen Lifestyle
One of the most attractive aspects of this opportunity is the exceptional work-life balance.
Unlike many Chef de Partie roles within London's luxury and fine-dining sector, this position offers a structured and sustainable working week:
- 35 hours per week
- 5 days on / 2 days off
- Sundays closed
- 8:00–9:00am starts
- Latest finish around 8:30pm
- Overtime paid
- A relaxed, well-organised working environment
- Excellent benefits package
This is a rare opportunity to work at a genuinely high culinary level without the long, demanding hours traditionally associated with top London kitchens.
What We're Looking For
- Previous Chef de Partie experience within a quality restaurant, hotel or hospitality environment.
- A genuine passion for cooking and high-quality ingredients.
- Strong preparation, organisation and presentation skills.
- The ability to work effectively within a small, professional brigade.
- High standards of food hygiene and kitchen practice.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop.
- Spanish cuisine experience is advantageous, but not essential.
Package
£15.50 per hour + £3–£6 per hour Tronc, dependent on business performance, with annual earning potential of £35,000–£45,000.
You'll also benefit from paid overtime, a 35-hour week, Sundays off, early finishes and an excellent benefits package.
Why This Opportunity?
Work alongside one of the world's most celebrated chefs, learn from an exceptional culinary team, and still have a life outside the kitchen.
For a Chef de Partie looking to develop their career while enjoying a healthier and more sustainable working pattern, this is an outstanding opportunity within London's luxury hospitality sector.
All enquiries will be treated in the strictest confidence.
