The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

The role
Our client is an established and well respected contractor. They are looking to recruit an experienced Contracts Manager/Project Manager to help them through a busy summer period. Based at the Hull office, which has its own dedicated workshops, you’ll work closely with site teams, clients, and management to make sure jobs are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.
What you’ll be doing
Managing contracts from start to finish after handover from the General Manager.
Leading and supporting site teams, sorting problems quickly and practically when they arise
Building strong, long-term relationships with clients and suppliers
Keeping a close eye on budgets, programmes, and progress
Carrying out site visits to check quality and safety and making sure all work meets industry and company standards
Preparing and reviewing RAMS and project paperwork What we’re looking for
Experience in industrial insulation, pipework, or a similar sector, ideally with 3-5 years in a similar role.
A good working knowledge of contracts and commercial terms
A practical leader who’s comfortable managing people on site
Clear communicator who builds trust easily
Able to juggle multiple projects without losing the detail
Full UK driving licence , some travel required
Confident using office documents and spreadsheets
