A Senior Key Account Manager is required for an established and growing business providing specialist outsourced services to major organisations throughout the UK.

This position will involve managing a portfolio of significant corporate accounts, developing relationships with senior decision-makers and ensuring clients receive a consistently high standard of service. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Client Services and internal departments to maintain client relationships, improve performance and identify opportunities for further account development.

The position would suit an experienced Key Account Manager, Strategic Account Manager or Client Relationship Manager with a background in managing complex business-to-business relationships. Experience within a regulated or professional services environment would be particularly relevant.

The role of Senior Key Account Manager will include:

* Managing and developing relationships with a portfolio of major corporate clients, acting as their principal point of contact.

* Building relationships with senior stakeholders, including operational management, directors and executive-level decision-makers.

* Developing account plans to support client retention, service improvement and long-term commercial relationships.

* Reviewing account performance, analysing operational data and presenting findings and recommendations to clients.

* Leading regular client meetings, performance reviews and discussions relating to service delivery and commercial objectives.

* Working with internal operational, legal, technical and commercial teams to ensure client requirements are understood and delivered.

* Taking responsibility for resolving complex client issues, coordinating the appropriate internal resources where necessary.

* Identifying opportunities to expand existing accounts through additional services and improvements to current arrangements.

* Supporting the Head of Client Services with wider account management initiatives and improvements to the client experience.

The suitable candidate for Senior Key Account Manager will need to possess the following skills and experience:

* Previous experience as a Senior Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Strategic Account Manager, Client Relationship Manager or in a comparable client-facing position.

* A proven track record of managing and retaining high-value business-to-business accounts.

* Experience dealing with senior client stakeholders and the confidence to lead meetings and present at director level.

* Strong commercial awareness and the ability to recognise opportunities to develop existing client relationships.

* The ability to interpret operational and financial performance information and communicate findings clearly.

* Experience working across internal departments to resolve client issues and improve service delivery.

* Strong communication, negotiation and relationship management skills.

* A structured and proactive approach to managing accounts, priorities and client expectations.

* Experience within financial services, legal or another regulated industry would be advantageous, although applications from other sectors are welcomed.

The successful candidate will be comfortable taking responsibility for important client relationships and dealing directly with senior decision-makers. This is not a new business sales position; the emphasis is on maintaining and developing existing accounts, improving client outcomes and supporting long-term commercial relationships.
