Job Description

Carrying out responsive plumbing repairs and planned maintenance within occupied Social Housing properties across Bedfordshire.

Diagnosing and repairing plumbing faults, including leaks, taps, toilets, showers, pipework and water systems.

Completing repairs efficiently and aiming for first-time fixes while maintaining high standards of workmanship.

Providing excellent customer service to tenants, ensuring minimal disruption and a professional approach at all times.

Managing daily workloads effectively and ensuring all work is completed safely and within agreed timescales.

Working closely with supervisors and planners to deliver a reliable, high-quality maintenance service across the Bedfordshire area.

Skills / Qualifications

Experienced Plumber with a background in Social Housing, housing maintenance or property services.

NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Plumbing, or an equivalent qualification, is desirable.

Competent in diagnosing plumbing faults and carrying out a range of reactive repairs and maintenance tasks.

Knowledge of health and safety procedures and safe working practices within occupied properties.

Full UK Driving Licence essential for travelling across Bedfordshire.

Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and deliver high-quality workmanship.
