Salary: £150–£200 per day
Class Mate is recruiting a full-time Year 2 Teacher for a welcoming and supportive primary school in NG2, starting immediately.
The Role
• Deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
• Plan, prepare and assess learning to meet national expectations
• Support pupils’ development in phonics, literacy and numeracy
• Create a structured, inclusive and positive classroom environment
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff
The Ideal Candidate
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2
• Strong knowledge of phonics (e.g. Little Wandle / Read Write Inc)
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Passionate about supporting pupil progress and development
Requirements
• QTS and relevant teaching qualification
• Recent experience teaching within a UK primary school
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Ability to provide two professional references
