Experience in OCEAN working for a freight forwarder is essential
Sound understanding of freight forwarding operations and logistics capabilities for ocean import & export
Excellent communication skills
Ability to interact at all level
Managing reports and providing clients with regular updates on costs, opportunities and contract performance
Import documentation experience
Customs clearance documentation experience would be advantageous Ocean Freight Operator - Responsibilities
Coordinate sea freight quotes and bookings from initial request through to final delivery, selecting the most suitable services and routes
Source and review supplier rates from carriers, NVOCCs, co-loaders and overseas agents, ensuring accurate pricing and margins
Arrange collections, book cargo, and monitor shipments through key milestones while keeping customers and internal teams informed
Prepare and check shipping documentation, support import/export customs clearance, and issue booking confirmations or arrival notices when required
Maintain accurate operational records, resolve service or supplier issues, and build strong relationships with carriers and overseas partners About Us
