What You'll Be Doing
You'll lead every aspect of the home's journey from registration through to a successful and thriving service.
This includes:
* Securing Ofsted registration
* Recruiting and developing a high-quality staff team
* Creating a safe, nurturing and structured environment for young people
* Building relationships with local authorities and commissioners
* Driving occupancy
* Ensuring outstanding safeguarding standards
* Managing budgets, staffing and overall performance
* Leading the home towards a Good or Outstanding Ofsted rating
Who we're Looking For
You may already be a Registered Manager looking for a fresh challenge.
Or you could be an experienced Deputy Manager who knows they're ready for their first registration.
Either way, you'll need:
* Level 5 Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or be close to completion)
* Strong knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards
* Experience supporting young people with EBD
* A proven ability to lead and develop teams
* Excellent safeguarding knowledge
* Ambition, resilience and a genuine passion for achieving positive outcomes
