Our client, a leading consultancy in the highways sector, is currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a contract position on a major highways project near Newton Abbot.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing cost control, financial reporting, and commercial performance of the project
Conducting cost analysis and preparing tender and contract documents
Overseeing the measurement and valuation of works
Providing support in contract administration under NEC option B and C
Collaborating with project managers and site teams to ensure project success
Implementing best practice procedures for efficient cost management
Identifying and managing project risks and opportunities
Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards

Job Requirements:

Significant experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor
Experience in NEC option B and C contract administration
Proven expertise in cost control and financial reporting within highways projects
Detailed understanding of quantity surveying principles and practices
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field
