We are looking to recruit x2 Manufacturing Operatives to join our busy engineering client in Weston-Super-Mare.
This is a full-time, hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in quality, and wants to develop their skills in a professional engineering environment.
* Location: Weston-Super-Mare
* Pay: £13.50 - £14.00 per hour
* Hours: Full‑time, Monday–Friday
Working as part of a skilled production team, your responsibilities will include:
* Assembly and disassembly of products, including engines, gearboxes and mechanical components
* Following technical and engineering drawings, work instructions and build specifications
* Operating basic hand and power tools safely and efficiently
* Carrying out inspection, testing and quality control checks to ensure high standards are met
* Identifying faults, reporting issues and supporting continuous improvement
* Maintaining a clean, organised and safe workshop environment at all times
* Working to production schedules while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
What We’re Looking For
We’re keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate:
* Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, engineering or mechanical environment
* Ability to read and work from technical drawings or written work instructions
* Confidence using basic hand and power tools
* A strong eye for detail
* A reliable, punctual and positive attitude
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Automotive, engine or gearbox experience is advantageous but not essential – training will be provided for the right candidate.
