We are looking for a Payroll Administrator to join a supportive payroll team and take responsibility for delivering accurate, timely and efficient payroll services.
Key Responsibilities
Process payroll accurately and within agreed deadlines.
Manage new starters, leavers, salary changes, deductions and statutory payments.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records.
Respond to and resolve payroll queries from clients.
Prepare payroll reports and supporting information.
Ensure compliance with UK payroll legislation and statutory requirements.
Liaise with clients, HMRC and pension providers to resolve queries and issues.
Maintain a high standard of customer service and professionalism.
About You
Previous experience in a payroll position.
Good knowledge of UK payroll processes and legislation.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Confident using payroll systems and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Able to handle confidential information with discretion.
Self-motivated and able to work independently while contributing effectively to a small team.
