The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

This role sits at the very heart of our production line and manages all aspects of the end-to-end production of some of the UK’s best known tissue brands.

The successful candidate will work on our rostered 4 shift pattern working 2 days then 2 nights so you can get that all important work/life balance.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES
Maintain the continuous running of our packaging machines
Facilitate product change overs including the loading of polyethylene reels
Responsible for the effective running of the log saw as and when required
Interact with the machine to solve minor issues/breakdown leading to the enhanced productivity of the machines
Carry out quality checks on productions when required and report any faults to the respective person
Carry out small maintenance activities and adjustments
Support the colleagues in case of need and overview the end line process when required Health, Safety & Compliance
Be accountable for high levels of housekeeping of the working area throughout the shift
Strong awareness of health & safety requirements in a manufacturing environment
Ability to work safely around moving machinery and automated system Quality & Accountability
Ability to identify and report product defects or process deviations
Willingness to stop the line and escalate issues where standards are not met
High level of attention to detail and ownership of work
Understanding that accuracy of checks and records is critical REQUIREMENTS
Previous manufacturing experience running automated packaging lines, desirable to have previous supervisory experience.
Ability to carry out machine set-ups, changeovers, and basic fault finding
Strong understanding of quality standards and in-process checks
Commitment to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and hygiene standards
Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions accuratley
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment
Excellent decision making abilities and the confidence to take on responsibilites.
Good level of numeracy and literacy (for recording checks, counts, and documentation)
Desire to progress and advance within the role WORKING HOURS
