The Role
As a Motor Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester, you will:
* Receive and complete work orders efficiently and accurately
* Carry out MOT tests in line with Ministry standards
* Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
* Rectify faults and mechanical failures
* Perform routine servicing and maintenance
* Read and interpret service manuals
* Maintain strict safety standards at all times
What We’re Looking For
* Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (essential)
* MOT Tester licence, or the ambition to train as an MOT Tester
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
* Technical expertise in engines, braking systems and suspension
* Excellent attention to detail
* Confident communication skills when explaining repairs and MOT outcomes
* A customer-focused approach
* Good working knowledge of the MOT testing guide
