The Role
We are looking for a driven and commercially focused Business Development Manager to join our growing telecoms sales team.
This is an office-based, desk-focused sales role for someone who enjoys generating new business, negotiating deals and, most importantly, closing.
You will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, speaking with business decision-makers, identifying their telecoms requirements and selling tailored solutions.
With 20–35% commission on Gross Profit, your earning potential is directly linked to the profitable business you generate.
Key Responsibilities
Generate new business through outbound calling, email and prospecting.
Build relationships with business owners, directors and key decision-makers.
Qualify opportunities and understand customer requirements.
Sell solutions including VoIP, Hosted Voice, SIP, Fibre, Broadband, Leased Lines, Business Mobiles and Unified Communications.
Prepare quotations and negotiate commercial terms.
Manage opportunities through the full sales cycle.
Overcome objections and confidently close deals.
Maintain an accurate CRM pipeline.
Hit and exceed monthly GP and revenue targets.
Upsell and cross-sell additional telecoms solutions.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is competitive, target-driven and confident on the phone, with a proven ability to win new business.
Ideally, you will have previous experience in B2B telecoms, IT, connectivity or technology sales, although strong B2B salespeople from other industries will also be considered.
You'll need to be:
Commercially driven and motivated by earning potential.
Confident speaking with senior decision-makers.
Resilient and comfortable handling objections.
Proactive in generating opportunities.
A strong negotiator with excellent closing skills.
Target-focused and able to manage a busy sales pipeline.
