Key Responsibilities:
Operating a telescopic handler safely and efficiently around a live housing site.
Utilising the suspended loads attachment to lift, move, and position materials (such as roof trusses or floor packs) according to the site lifting plan.
Loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
Distributing traditional building materials to various plots to keep trades moving.
Conducting daily vehicle safety inspections and pre-lift checks.
Working closely with the Site Manager and banksmen to maintain strict health and safety standards.
Requirements:
Valid CPCS or NPORS Card with both the Telescopic Handler category and the Suspended Loads endorsement (Essential).
Proven experience operating a telehandler on new build housing sites.
Full PPE (Hard hat, high-vis jacket/vest, and steel toe cap boots).
A safety-first approach with excellent knowledge of lifting plans and weight limits.
Full UK driving licence.
Strong communication skills and reliability.
