The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

This senior leadership position offers the opportunity to shape and enhance teaching quality across the organisation, driving improvements in learner outcomes, staff development and quality assurance processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the Teaching, Learning & Assessment strategy and promote a culture of excellence.
* Drive quality improvement initiatives across all curriculum areas.
* Oversee lesson observations, developmental visits and learning walks.
* Design and deliver high-impact CPD, coaching and mentoring programmes.
* Use performance data to identify strengths and improvement opportunities.
* Improve learner achievement, retention, attendance and progression.
* Support curriculum teams with innovative, inclusive and effective teaching practices.
* Ensure readiness for inspections, audits and internal quality reviews.
* Promote the effective use of digital learning and teaching technologies.
* Manage quality improvement cycles and associated reporting.
* Support curriculum planning and performance improvement activities.
* Line manage Advanced Teaching and Learning Practitioners as required.
* Champion safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion.
About You
You will possess:
* A degree or equivalent professional qualification.
* A recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE, Cert Ed or DTLLS.
* Evidence of ongoing professional development.
* Successful leadership experience within an educational environment.
* Strong knowledge of teaching, learning, assessment and quality improvement.
* Experience of raising standards and improving learner outcomes within Further Education and/or Apprenticeships.
* Excellent communication, organisational and people management skills.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive improvement.
