KS2 Teacher - September 2026

Full-time | September 2026 - April 2027
£130 - £180 per day depending on experience and qualifications

A welcoming primary school on the outskirts of Oldham is seeking a KS2 Teacher from September 2026. The school is less than 30 minutes from Huddersfield via the M62, making it an attractive alternative to West Yorkshire schools. It is also accessible from Saddleworth, Marsden, Slaithwaite and Rochdale.

Whether you're an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to continue your induction, or an experienced teacher seeking a supportive long-term role, you'll be joining a friendly school with a collaborative team and strong leadership.

The role

Teaching a Key Stage 2 class from September 2026 until April 2027
Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons
Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Assessing, monitoring and supporting pupil progress
Working closely with teaching assistants and colleagues
Contributing to the wider life of the school

The ideal candidate

UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching within Key Stage 2
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Passion for delivering engaging, high-quality teaching
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Enthusiastic, adaptable and committed approachApplications are welcomed from both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who have started their induction and experienced teachers.
