Job Title: MIG/TIG Welder
Pay:£20.00 per hour
Reporting To: Production Manager / Fabrication Manager
Working Hours:
Monday-Thursday: 7:00am-3:00pm
Friday: 7:00am-12:30pm
36.5 hours per week

Overtime available (1.5x standard hours & Saturday), 2x pay on Sundays.

Key Requirements
Previous experience as a MIG/TIG Welder within a fabrication, engineering, or heavy manufacturing environment.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Strong practical MIG and TIG welding skills.
Experience with preparation, measuring, grinding, drilling, and finishing.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to safely use fabrication equipment and lifting equipment where trained.
Reliable, proactive, and able to work well as part of a team.
Main Duties
MIG and TIG welding of fabricated components.
Preparing, aligning, and tack-welding components to drawings and specifications.
Setting up and safely operating welding and fabrication equipment.
Checking finished work for quality and accuracy.
Reporting defects or production issues to management.
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
Following all company Health & Safety and quality procedures.
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
