What your day might look like
No two days are the same — and that’s what makes this role so rewarding.
As a Care Assistant, you’ll:
* Build positive, trusting relationships with the individuals you support
* Help with daily routines, personal care, and developing life skills
* Support independence through activities, outings, and community involvement
* Celebrate progress — big and small — every step of the way
* Take part in fun, engaging experiences like train rides, trampoline parks, and local trips
* Work closely with your team to provide consistent, person-centred care
You’ll also support with:
* Record keeping and care notes
* Meal preparation and light housekeeping
* Creating a warm, welcoming, home-like environment
You don’t need to tick every box — we’re more interested in who you are.
We’re looking for people who:
* Are compassionate, patient, and genuinely care about others
* Communicate well and enjoy working as part of a team
* Are resilient and adaptable in a dynamic environment
* Are open to learning, training, and development
* Have basic IT skills
* Can work flexible shifts, including weekends and occasional nights

This role involves regulated activity with Children and requires an enhanced DBS with barred list check.
